At Harehill Alpacas, we want our farm to be a place of connection, calm and curiosity—a place where people can slow down, reconnect with nature, and leave feeling just a little lighter than when they arrived.
 

Our story began with a desire to build a different kind of life. After years living and working in central London, we returned home to County Down to create a family smallholding rooted in simple living, sustainability and community. What started with two alpacas to help guard our chickens from foxes quickly became a passion for these intelligent, gentle animals and the peaceful way of life they inspire.
 

Today, Harehill Alpacas is home to a carefully bred herd registered with the British Alpaca Society, where we place equal importance on health, temperament and fleece quality. Whether you're visiting for a memorable countryside experience, meeting the herd for the first time, or taking the first steps towards owning alpacas yourself, we're here to share our knowledge and our love of these remarkable animals.
