Meet The Alpacas
Every alpaca at Harehill has their own personality. All of our alpacas are registered with the British Alpaca Society, and many were born right here on the farm.Â

Angel
Angel's bright white fleece is every bit as striking as her name suggests. A fantastic mother with exceptional fleece quality, she's produced some beautiful offspring and remains one of the standout girls in the herd.

Koko
Our herd sire and undisputed leader of the boys. Koko placed sixth nationally in the UK Alpaca Championships in 2023 and is father to Sully and Mobo in our herd. With his jet-black fleece and calm, easy-going nature, he's the alpaca everyone wants to have around.
Genotype: Ee aa (solid bay black). Sire: Sheriff Oreo, dam: Bozedown Eliana (4th in National Halter show Hu 2 Prog One Dam, 2023)

Tus
The first alpaca ever born at Harehill, and probably our friendliest resident! In a rare moment of competitiveness we submitted Tús’ fleece to the All Ireland fleece show, as he has exceptional fibre. He is always first to greet visitors, loves a neck scratch, and spends much of his day keeping an eye on what's happening beyond the fence. Sheriff Bullseye & Hallmark Penny.

Pulitzer
Named after the famous award, Pulitzer was born in 2024 and is one of our rising stars. With his soft caramel fleece and gentle temperament, he's already showing the fleece quality we'd hope to see in a future stud.

Mobo
The youngest of our boys (2025) and best friend to Pulitzer. Mobo's rich black fleece and gentle personality make him a favourite around the farm. Wherever Pulitzer goes, Mobo is never far behind.

Adelaide
Full of personality, Adelaide arrived from England alongside Penny and quickly made herself at home. She's affectionate when the mood takes her, fiercely protective when she's a mum, and never afraid to make her opinions known.

Georgie
Born at Harehill and named after the George Cross, Georgie arrived with a little help from our friend Lindsay. She has inherited her mother's stunning fleece and has grown into a calm, elegant young alpaca.

Emmy
Another award-winning name in our herd, Emmy is Adelaide's daughter. Compact, gentle and easy to handle, she's particularly popular with younger visitors and has inherited plenty of her mother's character.

Sully
One of our youngest alpacas, Sully is a beautiful brown girl with a distinctive white sock on one foot. With her gorgeous colouring, soft fleece and sweet nature, we're excited to watch her grow.

Chester
Our cream-coloured companion alpaca and official neighbourhood snoop. Chester is Mr Personality and loves being involved in whatever you're doing and has a particular talent for helping himself to any food going the moment your back is turned.

Oscar
Oscar joined us when we first moved to Harehill and was originally bought to guard our chickens! Unflappable, independent and wonderfully dependable, he's the wise old uncle of the herd and helps look after our younger alpacas.
